Broadband Grant
The
Technology Task Force distributed grants to 21 Kandiyohi County
businesses to create a new website or enhance an existing
website.
Criteria
for the website grant program were:
- Applicants must meet the Small Business Administration
guidelines for small business definition.
- Attendance at one of the Community Business
Seminars.
- Recipients of the grant must include on
their web page the Local-E-Connected logo and a link to
the EDC website.
- Recipients of the grant must work with a
qualified website designer to guarantee that websites will
meet the needs of the recipient.
- Recipients must provide a final draft of
the website to the EDC with clear contact information for
the business included on the site.
- Reasons the website or website enhancement
will help improve or increase business.
