Joint
Operations Board
CREATION
The
Kandiyohi County and City of Willmar Economic Development
Commission (EDC) was created through a Joint Powers Agreement
by and between the County of Kandiyohi and the City of Willmar
on July 1, 2003 under Minn. Stat. § 471.59 to encourage,
attract, promote and develop economically sound industry and
commerce within the county and city.
JOINT
OPERATIONS BOARD
The
Joint Operations Board consists of seven members appointed
by and serving at the pleasure of the Joint Powers Board.
Membership on the Operations Board shall include representation
from communities throughout the county, education providers,
business and consumer groups. The terms of Operations
Board members shall be for three years and are limited to
three full three-year terms.

STATEMENT
To
be a catalyst for economic growth of the greater Kandiyohi
County area.

SCHEDULE
Meets
11:00 a.m. on the second Thursday each month at the EDC office.
