Publicize loan programs, educate lenders and stakeholders and make information and access to programs more readily available.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

1. Provide financial assistance

     a. in collaboration with Kandiyohi County banks

     b. to companies locating at

         i.    MinnWest Technology Campus

         ii.   new Willmar industrial park

         iii.  Multicultural Market of Willmar

         iv.  elsewhere in Kandiyohi County

     c. to other entrepreneurs

2. Pursue and promote alternative sources of funding

     a. Search for financing options from other economic groups

3. Market loan programs through:

     a. publicity opportunities

     b. one-on-one meetings with entrepreneurs

     c. meeting with Kandiyohi County banks

4. Seek educational opportunities for stakeholders regarding current topics of interest (for              example, intellectual propety)

5. Refer entrepreneurs and problem loans to SCORE, the Small Business Development                Center and Ridgewater College Small Business Management Program

6. Evaluate loan loss reserves (annually)

7. Review marketing information (annually)
