MISSION
STATEMENT
The
Tourism Committee shall encourage, promote and enhance the
experience of residents and visitors to Kandiyohi County.
MEETING SCHEDULE
Meets
at 11:30 a.m. on the first Monday of each month at various
locations throughout the county. Contact the EDC office
for specific locations each month.

GOALS
1.
Continue to identify and unify entities that attract people
from outside Kandiyohi County
to our area.
2. To support financially entities whose main function
is to attract people from outside
Kandiyohi County to visit our county.
3. To support activities and events whose goal is to enhance
the experiences of people
visiting Kandiyohi County.
4. To provide materials and support to various entities which
would assist them in
encouraging visitors to consider
Kandiyohi County as a residence.
METHODS
TO ACHIEVE GOALS
1.
Cooperate with CVB, Chambers of Commerce, Little Crow Resort
Association, governmental
entities and communities in the development of
the visitors guide and community profile.
2. Joint effort with various entities in advertising of our
area amenities and events.
3. Maintenance of five billboards at entrances to Kandiyohi
County.
4. Continued upgrades and maintenance of kandiyohi.com web
site.
5. Increase placement of visitors guides throughout Kandiyohi
County .
6. Encouraging the development of ethnic and artistic celebrations
in Kandiyohi County.
