PLANS & ASSISTANCE |
The favorable business climate
in Kandiyohi County has attracted dozens of businesses and
manufacturers from all over the
country.
Site availability and price are attractive,
with choices in ready-to-go industrial settings or raw land
to build on. Water
is pure and abundant; road, air, railway and water transportation
is readily available; a skilled workforce, provides an excellent
source of employees. Another key to the area's success in
economic development is the willingness of local officials
to work closely
with new businesses to meet their specific needs.
The Kandiyohi County and City of Willmar Economic
Development
Commission is an organized membership of business leaders,
private citizens
and government officials working together to provide a combination
of talent and skills to plan and develop job growth for Kandiyohi
County.
The regional office
of the Small Business Development Center headquartered at
Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall is available
