Faith Community

One of the first churches in Kandiyohi County, New Sweden, was organized in 1859 with services held in a small cabin. Today, the area's faith community has grown to 24 separate faith organizations serving approximately 80 individual congregations.

Our area's first immigrants were primarily Lutheran and our most recent immigrants are primarily Muslim. No matter your denomination or faith, we are sure to have a congregation that will welcome you and help you feel at home.
